About Veini

Veini is quite calm by nature, but curious and sometimes eager to play. Grooming is not one of her favourite activities, so she will have to practice it in her new home. Veini's coat needs regular grooming. Cat-social Veini will need to find a cat companion in her new home. Veini can go as a buddy to an existing cat at home, but he would prefer to go to his new home with his familiar housemate Vullaby. We ask applicants to familiarise themselves with the Scottish Fold breed before applying. The Fold cat's floppy ears are the result of a genetic mutation that also causes the cat to suffer from bone and cartilage problems, osteoarthritis and increasing pain. In Finland, Scottish Fold cats are not accepted in the Finnish Cat Association's register.

Veini on luonteeltaan melko rauhallinen, mutta kuitenkin utelias ja intoutuu toisinaan myös leikkiin. Hoitotoimenpiteet eivät ole neidin lempipuuhaa, joten niitä tulee vielä uudessa kodissa harjoitella. Puolipitkäkarvaisen Veinin turkki kaipaa säännöllistä hoitoa. Kissasosiaalisen Veinin uudesta kodista tulee löytyä hänelle kissakaveri. Veini voi lähteä kotona jo olevan kissan kaveriksi, mutta mieluiten hän suuntaisi uuteen kotiinsa yhdessä tutun kämppiksen Vullabyn kanssa. Pyydämme hakijoita perehtymään scottish fold -rotuun ennen hakemuksen täyttämistä. Fold-kissan luppakorvat ovat seurausta geenimutaatiosta, joka aiheuttaa kissalle myös luusto- ja rusto-oireita, nivelrikkoa ja lisääntyviä kipuja. Suomessa scottish fold -kissoja ei hyväksytä Suomen Kissaliitto ry:n rekisteriin.
